Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Confirmation

• All bookings are subject to vehicle availability at the time of confirmation
• A booking is only confirmed when you receive a confirmation call or message from Nidu Cabs
• Submitting an inquiry form does not guarantee availability — we will confirm within 2 hours
• We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion

2. Fares & Pricing

• All fares are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR)
• The quoted daily rate is for the vehicle and driver together — no separate driver charge
• Fares may vary based on distance, route, fuel prices, and trip duration
• Toll charges, parking fees, and entrance fees (if applicable) are additional
• Fuel costs are included in the quoted rate unless otherwise stated
• Prices are subject to change — the confirmed rate at booking time will apply

3. Cancellation Policy

• More than 24 hours notice: Full cancellation, no charge
• Less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee may apply
• No-show: If you do not appear at the pickup point without prior notice, a no-show fee equivalent to 50% of the trip fare may apply
• Cancellations must be communicated directly to Nidu Cabs by phone or WhatsApp

4. Passenger Responsibilities

• Passengers are responsible for being ready at the agreed pickup location and time
• Please provide accurate pickup details (hotel name, address, landmark)
• For airport pickups, please provide your flight number and arrival time
• Passengers must not engage in unlawful activities during the journey
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all Nidu Cabs vehicles
• Pets are allowed only with prior written approval
• Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the trip

5. Driver & Vehicle

• All Nidu Cabs drivers hold valid Sri Lankan driving licenses
• Drivers follow all traffic laws and road safety regulations of Sri Lanka
• We reserve the right to assign an alternative vehicle of similar category if the requested vehicle becomes unavailable due to technical issues
• Drivers are authorised to refuse service if passenger behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate

6. Insurance & Liability

• All Nidu Cabs vehicles carry valid motor insurance as required by Sri Lankan law
• Nidu Cabs shall not be liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
• Nidu Cabs is not responsible for loss or damage to passenger luggage or personal property
• Our liability in any claim is limited to the fare paid for that particular trip

7. Airport Transfers

• For airport pickups, we monitor flight arrivals. If your flight is delayed, please inform us as soon as possible
• We allow a 60-minute free waiting time after the scheduled arrival time for international flights
• After the free waiting period, additional waiting charges may apply
• For airport drops, please be ready at your pickup location at the agreed time

8. Outstation Trips

• Multi-day trip rates include driver accommodation arranged by Nidu Cabs
• The driver will follow the agreed itinerary; changes during the trip may affect the final fare
• Entrance fees to national parks, museums, or attractions are the passenger's responsibility

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from the use of Nidu Cabs services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.

10. Changes to Terms

Nidu Cabs reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
